Suspension products do not require stirring or agitation in bulk, IBC or drum storage for up to 3 months and are normally stable for much longer periods. However, regular or intermittent stirring is not detrimental to Norkem suspensions.
It is recommended that storage tanks and pipe lines exposed to cold temperatures are insulated and trace heated if necessary.
To ensure consistent colour development using body stains, we recommend the use of pressurised systems with pneumatic valves to overcome potential problems when ceramic production processes regularly stop and start.
For the use of BAC60 and BAC70 we suggest the use of sprinkle bars or shower heads to ensure uniform addition across a conveyor or mixer.
