December in Paris? Yes please! Norkem is delighted to confirm our return to Fi Europe 2025, the leading global gathering for the food and beverage ingredients industry.
Celebrating its landmark 30th edition, Fi Europe will this year gather thousands of professionals from across the industry at the magnificent Expo Porte de Versailles in Paris, with three days (2-4 December) dedicated to exploring innovation in ingredients, nutrition, functionality and formulation.
It is also, of course, a standout opportunity to meet and connect with producers, buyers, R&D specialists and operations leaders from across the world. We are looking forward to renew old acquaintances and build new friendships. Our dedicated multilingual Food & Drink team from across our European offices will be in attendance, as well as sales representatives from other industry sectors.
From our exhibition stand, we’ll be showcasing highlights from our food and drink portfolio, covering preservatives, vitamins, minerals, dietary fibres and protein supplements. The list includes emerging solutions aligned to consumer priorities around wellness, performance and sustainability.
One of the products we’re most excited about at the moment is NiHPRO™, a novel whey protein alternative that has just secured its first commercial listing in the UK through premium supplements brand Strom Sports Nutrition. Free of all major allergens, including lactose and gluten, NiHPRO™ uses a groundbreaking extraction process to produce a plant-derived protein supplement that matches whey for nutritional value, creamy mouthfeel and taste, but the producer indicates that it should not cause the digestive issues that many people experience with whey supplements.
Another product we are really enthusiastic about is GOFOS, a short-chain fructooligosaccharide (sc-FOS) that serves as a zero-calorie dietary fibre additive. The most exciting thing about GOFOS is that it is about 50% as sweet as sugar, making it a highly appealing option for boosting the fibre content of baked goods and other sweet products. As the spotlight continues to shine on the impact low-fibre diets have on gut and general health, and the food industry grapples with how to add fibre to products in an age where public tastes have moved away from wholegrain foods, we believe GOFOS has a significant role to play.
This is just a couple of examples of what we’re looking forward to talking to fellow attendees about at Fi Europe. Away from the exhibition hall, the 2025 agenda features curated knowledge sessions for senior decision-makers, including a Lunch & Learn on 3 December focused on building resilient, future-ready food systems.
If you’re planning on attending, make a note of Stand 73K48, which is where you’ll find the Norkem team across the three days. For further information and to book tickets, please head to the Fi Europe site.
