Norkem is pleased to confirm that we will be exhibiting at Fi Europe 2024, the continent's premier trade event for the food and beverage ingredients industry. We'll once again be exhibiting across the full three days at the Messe Frankfurt Conference Centre in Germany from 19th to 21st November in Hall 20 Stand D62.
Fi Europe brings together over 25,000 delegates from around the globe, including more than 1200 exhibitors. It’s one of the standout opportunities in the calendar for our food and beverage team to meet figures from across the food and drink supply chain and showcase our outstanding range of nutritional additives, ingredients, preservatives and more.
We’ll be sending a multi-lingual team from across our European offices and look forward to reconnecting with clients and colleagues old and new.
This year, the main Fi Europe exhibition will be proceeded by the Future of Nutrition Summit on 18th November, also in Frankfurt at the Mövenpick Hotel. This one-day event features a program of talks and peer-to-peer events focusing on health-driven innovation in food and drink, novel ingredients, and the role that technology (and AI in particular) can play in the future of nutrition.
These are topics that we’ve seen move to the top of the agenda for our food and drink clients in recent years, with demand for ingredients that improve the nutritional profile of foodstuffs soaring.
Norkem has responded by securing distribution deals with some of the most exciting and innovative nutritional additive start-ups in the world. That list includes Galam, the company behind the incredibly versatile dietary fibre additive GOFOS. The producer describes the product as “a plant-derived short-chain fructo-oligosaccharide (sc-FOS) which surely counts as a ‘super ingredient’ for its ability to combine low calorie, low glycemic and prebiotic qualities with a naturally sweet taste!”
Innovations like these make it an exciting time to be a part of the food and drink industry, as thinking about the relationships between food, health and also the environment moves forward apace.
